When was the last time that you gave money to an Asian, in a black community? How much $ did you give to them & what did you buy?
Hello. About 3 years ago. One hair product and one comb.
1 year ago. Getting a pedicure.
I really had to think about this.
10 years ago. Hair care product. Under $10.
15 years ago, clippers and liner for my uncle $120
Interesting. That nobody hasn’t done that in so long. Where I’m from that’s an everyday occurrence. Even if the cashier and the cooks are people of color.
Yesterday, hair care products $11
$60.. 2 days ago. I had to buy supplies for my studio. In the beauty industry it isn’t a way around it. I have a Korean friend that links me up with other Asians to get “Asian” discounts but it’s impossible to not buy from them. Rather directly or indirectly.
About 3 days ago & around 40$ hair products from beauty supply. There are no black owned places near me to buy from & im not into making my own products.
Mainly cuz I haven’t gone to a corner store in my neighborhood in like 8 months (losing weight) but there’s two Arab owned stores on both corners.
I had my brows done a few days ago $10.
Over a year. It was Chinese food for about $12. Spring Roll, beef and broccoli.
4 months ago. Shea butter $8
Manikin head was $25 or so on amazon, a month ago.
About 2 years ago. $2 for a hair oil.
2 yrs pedicure
